Stefan Wallmann appointed new Managing Director for Transport in Ramboll Group

As Managing Director for Ramboll’s Transport business Stefan Wallmann will lead 3,800 Ramboll employees delivering world-class low-carbon solutions across roads, bridges, ports, and public transport. Transport is Ramboll’s third largest market business unit contributing 19% to the overall revenue of the Ramboll Group.

“Therefore, I am pleased that Stefan Wallmann has accepted to lead our efforts in accelerating the transformation of our Transport business unit. Stefan is a seasoned leader, who has significant international experience from the transport sector and a strong understanding of running major transport projects globally. This together with his experience with rail projects and in-depth knowledge of particularly the German market, where rail is a huge investment area, makes Stefan the right person to lead our business unit for Transport,” he says.

Stefan Wallmann is excited to begin his new role and responsibilities.

For the past five years Stefan Wallmann has been the Managing Director for Ramboll in Germany. Under his leadership Ramboll’s German business has grown from 500 to now 1100 colleagues and become a known brand in the German market. Before joining Ramboll Stefan Wallmann has held other senior leadership positions with special focus on the global transport market.
